Sweden is a small country, home to just 0.13 per cent of the global population. Yet today, it is a world leader in innovation. This is noticed most in the large number of science parks and incubators covering the geography of the country.
Overall the national association of science parks, Swedish Incubators & Science Parks (SISP) have 65 members covering about 5,000 companies with more than 70,000 employees.
The focus of the science parks is to stimulate growth in knowledge-based industries and work with the development of clusters, industrial project development arenas, seed capital funds and accelerators, in efficient collaboration with industry, public sector, universities and research institutes.
Over the years, Bearing has worked with many of the parks, and today we can announce we have won a framework agreement to help Mid Sweden Science Park in the northern city of Östersund with the development of projects and investments. We look forward to initiate this collaboration as we enter the new year.
Perhaps you could start with encouraging Mid Sweden Science Park to also have their website in English 🙁
That is a very good point!
