Impact investments can be made in both emerging and developed markets, and target a range of returns from below-market to above-market rates, depending upon the circumstances.

William Jimerson from the private equity firm Musa Capital in South Africa presented their approach to impact investing at The Edge event in Monaco last year, which we wrote about in a previous article. You may want to watch the video which is embedded in the article.

Last month, The World Economic Forum presented a new in-depth report about impact investing, which has been developed in collaboration with Deloitte. It is a very informative paper and well worth a look.
