Smart Home Devices

I have recently watched an interesting programme which focuses on listing  some of the products that could be coming to our homes in the near future.The newest  smart home devices  that are being designed to fit seamlessly into our lives.

•  Smart Mirror

With the help of sensors and facial recognition software (the same kind as Panasonic’s cameras), it creates an enlarged, hologram-like image of your face, and then diagnoses your weak areas — wrinkles, smile lines, blemishes, et cetera. Also  it makes custom recommendations based on your skin condition.  In addition, the mirror could in theory sync with your calendar, and recommend entire looks for different occasions.

• LG Smart House System

LG unveiled a HomeChat system that lets people fire off text messages to appliances in natural language and then get responses couched in slightly playful attitude. LG devices that can synch to the network include a washer, stove, refrigerator and a robotic vacuum.

• Samsung Smart Home

Samsung Smart Home enables home device connectivity through a single integrated platform providing a foundation for emerging ecosystem of connected home services. With Device Control, users can use customised settings on their mobile devices or Smart TV to monitor or control home devices — turning on air conditioning or activating lighting, for example — while inside or outside the home, or even while travelling abroad. At the touch of a dedicated Smart Home app icon on their device, the service enables users to control one or multiple devices simultaneously no matter where they are.

• Robot Vacuum Cleaner Dyson 360 Eye

Just like you, Dyson 360 Eye™ robot constantly observes and interprets its surroundings. But unlike you, it sees all around the room at once.This unique 360° vision system uses complex mathematics, probability theory, geometry and trigonometry to map and navigate a room. So it knows where it is, where it’s been and where it’s yet to clean.

• Wireless Kitchen Appliance that  combines a range of innovations and intelligent solutions in a contemporary design, like a wireless dishwasher and microwave with a camera inserted inside, which with the use of a tablet and special app allows you to monitor what happens inside !

They are some  ideas here, I can actually see in my own home !
