The world develops and environments change. This link was sent to me by one of my students, Svetlana Masjutina. It links to a Russian website showing how 20 cities have changed in 20 years. The introduction says:
The world is rapidly changing, and often we do not even have time to trace it. Just arriving in his native city, and every time we see that it is becoming increasingly unfamiliar, and cease to recognize the old place. Therefore it is always interesting to see the changes in comparison to the one in the pictures to see the passage of time. But very soon, and modern buildings turn into history, and urban landscape will change again, and hopefully for the better.
